Mémoire Vivante de La Plaine

Mémoire Vivante de La Plaine is an organization that was created by residents and business leaders in La Plaine Saint-Denis when the construction of the Stade de France and the covering of the A1 motorway kicked off conversations about neighbour transformation.

Objectifs :

Préserver, valoriser et partager l’histoire de la Plaine Saint-Denis en collectant des témoignages et des documents sur tous les aspects de la vie urbaine et industrielle à la Plaine Saint-Denis.

• Tours
• Photo and document exhibits
• Discussions on theme pertaining to local social life, neighbourhoods, and businesses

Campus Condorcet projects:

• Campus staff and students invited to visit the association and take part in its initiatives
• Conferences and roundtable discussions about the history and transformations of the neighbourhood
• Campus students and researchers are invited to get involved in researching themes related to the history, social and political life, and environment of La Plaine Saint-Denis.
