Solidaires étudiant.e.s EHESS

EHESS’s only student union, Syndicat solidaires étudiant.e.s EHESS has been a presence on campus since 1999 with the goal of protecting the rights of all the school’s students. Syndicat solidaires étudiant.e.s EHESS is an activist student union, a member of the Solidaires Etudiant.e.s federation and the Solidaires trade union.

Our members are students studying for EHESS undergraduate, Master’s, and doctoral degrees. Our priorities include improved studying and living conditions, international student rights, and the rights of working students and students experiencing problems with their mentor or advisor. We are represented on various School bodies such as the Administrative Council, the Research Council, and the CHSCT, and participate in civic engagement activities both within our school and beyond. We also provide assistance and counsel to students who need it, whether because of financial or material concerns, or because of any kind of discrimination pertaining to the administration or to their studies more broadly. We are available for consultations by email or during our weekly office hours.

We will participate in the social, cultural, and political life of the campus by organizing film screenings, conferences and talks, and conversations between various campus figures and local personalities.
