Weeding, sowing or watering: the vegetable garden gives pupils the opportunity to actively discover vegetables and flowers, under the supervision of their teachers. During the workshops and garden visits, the children also carry out artistic activities (drawing from observation, decorating and embellishing the garden) and manual activities (building an insect hotel). The children’s activities are led by their teachers, with the help of civic service volunteers and trainees working on projects to raise environmental awareness. The content of these workshops is adapted according to the children’s age and school year.
