These are instructions for reserving an item via the GED catalogue.

Step 1. Log in to the catalogue.

Click on “Log In” on the catalogue homepage.

Step 2. Request a reservation.

 When you are on the item page for the book you want to reserve, click “Request.”

If there is no “Request” button, this item cannot be reserved (this is the case for electronic resources, for example).

Step 3. Send the request.

You will see a form:

  • For a journal, select which issue you require,
  • Otherwise you can send your request right away.

Step 4. Track your reservation request.

Once you have sent your request, the GED team will begin the process of getting the book from CTLes (the GED’s temporary offsite storage facility) to the Maison des sciences de l’homme Paris Nord.

You will receive an email when your item is ready for pick up.

You can also track the status of your reservation request from your account by clicking on “My requests”:
